Why is chia pudding healthy?
Chia pudding is incredibly healthy because chia seeds are packed with omega-3 fatty acids, proteins,
antioxidants and fiber. The soluble fiber in chia seeds can help with weight loss
by making you feel full and it can also help with constipation.

Recipe

Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons chia seeds

- 240 ml almond milk

- ½ tbsp maple syrup,

- 1 tsp honey

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Toppings of your choice: fresh berries or other fruit, granola, nut butter, etc

Preparation method

1. Stir together chia seeds, plant-based milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a bowl.

2. Stir this well.

3. Once the chia pudding mixture is well combined, let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir/shake it again to thicken it some more. Cover and place the mixture in the refrigerator to set for 1-2 hours or overnight. The chia pudding should be nice and thick, not runny. If it is not thick enough, add more chia seeds (about 1 tablespoon), stir well again and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
